RECONNECT WITH LIFE IN A COMMUNITY WITH PURPOSE Think what it would mean to connect to family and to friends in an environment that links you to natural surroundings.
Stone Canyon offers people of all ages a richer quality of life based on respect and appreciation for the native landscape.
Oklahoma’s most comprehensive planned community, Stone Canyon is 20 minutes from downtown Tulsa and worlds away from the expected. This breakthrough concept, years in development, establishes an eco-friendly “green” luxury community that entices families by encouraging healthy living.
Just look around. Stone Canyon blends the beauty of the great outdoors with the finest homes, shopping, dining, golf, education and amenities. Of the community’s 3,000 acres of Oklahoma landscape, 650 will remain left open for common-use areas. This is not surprising, since the site is carved out of the historic Oxley Ranch, a nature preserve.
Stone Canyon’s homes are designed and constructed by premier builders, who are among Tulsa’s most innovative and successful in the industry.
HEALTHY LIVING IS A WAY OF LIFE Combine charming walkable neighborhoods with nearby inviting shops and services. Suddenly, everyone is afoot more and biking more. By encouraging physical activity, Stone Canyon is contributing to a healthy lifestyle for residents. Long-term, as research has proven, this increased exercise can improve cardiovascular and respiratory health, and can reduce the risk of hypertension and obesity.
LIVING IN "THE CITY WITHOUT LIMITS" One of the fastest growing and most surprising communities in the nation, Owasso blends the beauty and open spaces of rural life with the excitement and conveniences of urban living. As civic leaders envisioned, the city has evolved into a family-oriented, business-friendly environment: Owasso Public Schools rank high scholastically in the state, St. John Owasso Hospital and Bailey Medical Center bring healthcare close to home, and local churches are expanding and erecting new facilities to accommodate the increasing population. Equally exciting, Owasso residents are being treated to an ever-growing list of shopping, dining and service options.
WITH THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR THE LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES In the design and construction of Stone Canyon, great care was taken to leave as much of the landscape undisturbed as possible, and to conserve resources to maintain the grounds. Natural terrain and landforms were re-sculpted and reworked to create The Patriot golf course. Engineers developed an attractive and innovative lake system to irrigate the golf course and public areas. Also, an aerobic system allows homeowners to irrigate a portion of their lawns with reclaimed water.
LIFESTYLES & LANDSCAPES In this community, you choose the landscape – upper prairie, woodlands, canyons or meadows – and the life you live, as Stone Canyon unites neighbors and nature. Front doors are close enough to instill a strong sense of community, distant enough to allow each residence to relate to its natural surroundings.
THE BLUFFS - VIEWS WITHOUT END Within the gated area, these masterpiece homes sit atop stone bluffs, displayed like fine pieces of art. Stone Canyon’s field of vision extends beyond forests and fairways, past creeks and streams, to the vista that includes the downtown Tulsa skyline.
THE PATRIOT - GREAT GOLF FOR THE GREATER GOOD On this turf, situated within Stone Canyon, golf is more than a sport. The Patriot pays tribute to family, friendship, patriotism and the spirit of the game. Eighteen holes cover four distinct topographies – lowland marsh, heavy woodland, high prairie and dramatic canyons. Panoramas stretch for 30 miles and limestone walls climb to 190 feet.
Course designer Robert Trent Jones Jr. called The Patriot, “A blend of strategic and heroic golf puzzles that are up to each golfer to solve for himself—often by determining the best position from which to attack the holes.”
The Patriot Golf Club is also the primary benefactor of Folds of Honor Foundation. This charitable organization provides educational scholarships for spouses and children of America’s military heroes who have been disabled or killed while serving their country.
