2016 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway
Epic Custom Homes Builds A Dramatic Fundraiser

Epic Custom Homes has now completed their 7th St. Jude Dream Home for the Tulsa area. Epic owners Jeff Starkweather and Kirk Murdoch have once again created a dramatic home for this annual fundraiser. A limited number of $100 raffle tickets will be sold. While the home is the grand prize there are over a dozen additional valuable prizes including a $10,000 furniture shopping spree courtesy of FFO Home whose furnishings are featured throughout the home.

Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. As recently announced in the Tulsa World, St. Jude has partnered with The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis. Set to open in July, this new partnership is the first in Oklahoma and a true extension of the St. Jude system of clinics.

This year’s home, valued at approximately $500,000, features three bedrooms plus a large game/media room or fourth bedroom, three bathrooms and approximately 3,300 square feet of living space plus a three-car garage on a half-acre corner lot. As you enter the home you will take immediate notice of the open ranch-style plan with spacious entry and vaulted living room ceiling.

The home is built through donations of time and materials provided by many local suppliers. The kitchen features a beautiful transitional style cabinetry donated by Wooden Solutions Custom Cabinetry. This is the seventh consecutive year that the company has provided cabinetry throughout the entire dream home. With a diverse range of design capabilities, Wooden Solutions is capable of turning any home into a “dream home.”

The large master suite features a luxurious walk-in shower and distinctive soaking tub. Other local providers include Tulsa Winnelson, Discount Garage Door, Barbee’s Heat & Air, Street Lamps Patio & Outdoor Décor, and Spectrum Paint. There are too many local providers to list in this article. Please ask for a complete list when you tour the home.

Epic combines style and design with energy saving techniques. Both Jeff and Kirk have taken the extra steps to become certified HERS raters and build every home to meet or exceed the toughest energy standards. The home features foam insulation and high-efficiency heat and air systems.

The home is located at 18359 E Red Fox Trail, Owasso, Oklahoma in the Deer Run neighborhood of Stone Canyon. Open house hours are 9am – 5pm Saturdays and Noon to 5pm on Sundays from May 14th through June 19th. The winner will be drawn June 26th, 2016 at 1 p.m. on Fox23. You may purchase your tickets at the home or by visiting stjude.org/dhtulsa. You may also call 1-800-853-1470. Each $100 ticket purchased will enter you into the giveaway. You may purchase as many tickets as you would like while they last.
