Tulsa’s newest home and garden show is coming back for another great year. Spring Home & Outdoor Living Expo, presented by Junk King, is set for a three-day weekend opening at noon on Friday, April 20, 2018, in the River Spirit Expo at Expo Square. Junk King is Tulsa’s newest and fastest growing junk removal service with a drive to keep everything possible out of the landfill.
The show falls on Earth Day weekend. Many of the exhibitors will be drawing special attention to how their business uses recycled materials in their products and how easy their products are to recycle. Other exhibitors will be showcasing ways to save energy and conserve resources around the house.
Perhaps the biggest news concerning this year’s expo is that attendance is FREE. So, not only is the parking free, the admission is free. As you enter the show, you can also register for the daily $500 cash drawing. Register early on Friday and have multiple chances to have your name drawn.
The first 1,500 families entering the drawing will be given a valuable free gift. Additional contest and prize details will be posted on SpringHomeExpo.com closer to show time. You can also register on the web to be notified when new info is posted.
Back by popular demand is the Rescue Roundup, one of many show attractions, which features several animal rescue groups with dogs ready for adoption. Every home needs a pet. In some cases another one.

Tiny Home Town
Building on last year’s strong response to the featured Tiny Home Tours, this year’s show will feature a Tiny Home Town consisting of multiple tiny homes from some of the top tiny home builders in the region. This 6,000-square-foot attraction will offer walk-through tours of different tiny home solutions designed to serve the serious and the curious alike.
Rescue Roundup
Returning this year is the Rescue Roundup. Here you will have access to a sizeable collection of local animal rescue groups. Each group will bring several dogs or other animals for adoption to meet prospective families like yours. Every home needs a pet. In some cases another one.
FREE Document Shredding
In addition to the shredding vouchers that attendees can use in the weeks following the show, Green Country Shredding & Recycling will be on-site Saturday from 10am to 2pm offering free on-site shredding. Bring your old receipts and tax records and watch the shredder in action!
